These events are free to the public and made possible by the generous donation of time by members of the Sheriff's Auxiliary Volunteers. We have contracted with Assured Document Shredding to provide secure and reliable destruction of your documents. Non-confidential items such as envelopes, cards, and magazines should not be brought. Bring up to 5 bags or boxes of confidential information to be shredded on-site. Here is a sample of items found mixed in with people's documents during past events: large seashells, rocks, batteries, computer mouse, computer cables, clothes and other items that would have damaged the shred machine on the truck.ĭocuments from businesses and personal videos, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, photographs, photo slides, and credit cards will NOT be accepted.
